On this page you can hear a selection of demos from my current works-in-progress. Each week I'll remove a demo and add another one, so please check back often to hear a different assortment of tracks.

CD NOW AVAILABLE: My new solo CD, "In the Beginning," is now available through MP3.com. Here is a description of the different projects that the tracks that are featured on this site and the CD are from. Please click on the "Live events" link up above to read entries on the development of each project. "Believe" sets the Orpheus myth in a not-too-distant past in the South of France. The myth is used as a basis for exploring the power of love over the darker human emotions of jealousy and distrust.

"Twilight" is a contemporary musical that concerns a Wall Street analyst who starts mixing with a group of downtrodden performers in a hole-in-the-wall piano bar. The show takes a look at people from two different worlds trying to rediscover the passion they once had for life, love and the pursuit of their dreams.

"Journeys" is a theatrical song-cycle that takes a look at twelve different characters (portrayed by four performers) at a crossroads in their lives and then revisits them years later to see where their different paths have taken them. The separate moments of these characters flow together in a mosaic of the journey we all go on as we meet the challenges, disappointments, realizations and triumphs in our lives. MP3s of demos from this project will likely start appearing on this site in late 2003 or early 2004.

"Affections" is a pop chamber musical that tells the bitter-sweet story of three college sophomores (two male and one female) that move in together and explore the boundaries of friendship, love and sex. Set in 1985, "Affections" takes a nostalgic look at what it was like to be 19 and sexually ambiguous in the 80's. MP3s of demos from this project will likely start appearing on this site in late 2003 or early 2004.
