May 2003: Light at the end of the tunnel: After long bout with knee and back injury and surgery, there are signs of recovery. Thanks to Dr. Aprin for seeing what no one else did.
Dec. 2002: Sasha Zand, Matt Johnson, Matt Pavolka in recording studio with Bryce Goggin (who just handed in the new Phish album) also mix of "Start" completed by Julian Standen (Lemonheads, Siouxsie & the Banshees).
Sept. 2002: First concert at the RockStarBar in Williamsburgh, Brooklyn on Sept. 4 was fantastic success! Set list: Start, Whirlwind, Double Door, Under the Skin, Handshake, Velvet Trace, Never Forget, Riptide, Strawberry Fields, then solo electric encore with, A Casual Mistake, Out on the Wire.
June 2002: On trip to L.A. commissioned and finished writing themesong for film "Handshake".
May 2002: News: Sasha Zand gigging with Matt Johnson (drums, Jeff Buckley, Beth Orton) and Matt Pavolka (Upright Bass).
April 2002: "Under the Skin" acoustic unplugged airs on WLIR 92.7 FM Live at the Munchaba Lounge. May 2002: "Easy" airs on Q104.3 FM Out of the Box with Jonathan Clarke. Only new artist to simultaneously get on both the Modern and Classic Rock FM stations in Tri-State Area.
