Guido Freddi is a double-bass and electric bass
player and a jazz and film score composer based in New York City.
He's recording a CD with his new Quartet (some songs in this page are a preview of it!)
featuring musicians as Rodney Green (Mulgrew Miller, Brandford Marsalis, Orrin Evans...)
In 1999 he recorded his first CD (the Jazz-fusion
album "Taranta Steps" feat. Bob Quaranta, Memo Acevedo, Ben Sher...) and performed mostly in NYC area with his Sextet "Taranta Steps" (Check the link).
In 2000-01 co-founded the Ugetsu Collective and recorded two albums "Blending" and "'Round Eleven" (check the link).
In 2002 he recorded "Live @ Between the Lines"
with Randy Borra on alto sax and Miho Nozawa on piano.
He's also preparing a film score for the director
Ilaria Borrelli's new feature movie (feat. Brooks Shields, Chevy Chase, Mariagrazia Cucinotta,Pier Francesco Favino...)
He's music has been chosen by Frank Grima for the Mojo Music Studios radio shows.
