The "America Mourns" Project

The "America Mourns" compilation CD project has been put together by Australian MP3 artist, David McLauchlan. Now living in the US, McLauchlan wanted to spearhead an initiative to raise money for the humanitarian effort following the recent tragic terrorist activity in the United States.

Here is where you can help. The artists below have very kindly donated their music towards this cause. Purchase a NetCD, CD or make a "Back the Band" donation, and all funds raised will be donated to the American Red Cross AND be matched dollar for dollar by McLauchlan's employer.

There are three ways you can make a contribution. You can buy a CD for $11.99 of the "America Mourns" project - featuring original works by the fourteen independent artists listed below. It will be shipped to you as a regular CD with cover art etc... You can buy a NetCD for $8 which places all the tracks below into your My.MP3 repository, where you can listen to them from any internet connected device in the world, or you can make a "Back the Band" donation for whatever dollar figure you'd like, and at the same time place a message on the "Back the Band" board on this page.

McLauchlan received over 500 submissions for this compilation album, and wishes to sincerely thank all those who so generously offered their heart and soul for this project. The artist's works selected below represents only a fraction of the generosity pledged.
