The story..
Grindminded where formed in 1997 as a project off Stick To The Pan (dirty punk/crust) and Blindsided (metalcore) members. Knerry G, Bakvet (Stick To The Pan), Balrog and Ballie (Blindsided) already had some plans to from a band, influenced by bands like Napalm Death and Carcass, before there formed the other bands. In the year 1997, Grindminded was a fact. The first songs were short, fast and almost every time when we entered the rehearsal room we wrote three songs or more. We did a couple shows in Holland. Because of the time that was need for the other bands, Grindminded became a bit on the second spot. In 1999 singer Ballie calls it quit (personal reasons) and Darlin replaced him. Only this was of short notice, so we went on as a three mans formation. Between all this, the other two bands broke up. So then, Grindminded became priority number one. We decided to make some new songs that contain a bit more death metal (you also hear Scandinavian influences). In Goliath666 we found a new singer. In this formation, we recorded a promo CD in the Sing Sing Studios. That’s all folks….
