A melodic vocal melody filetered to intermingle with minimal yet dense keyboards floating above up-beat drums |

Easily the meanest of the four tracks on the "Day Moon Glow" demo, "Number One" is made up of a cut and dry guitar riff that melds with a relentlessly winding keyboard line as the drums punch in the anxhiety of the minimal vocals. What might be considered the chorus opens wide and eventually gives into a delicate piano. Each of the 5 lines of lyrics serves to tightly frame and employ the intensity of the rest of the song. |

A dry keyboard melody and drums carry this waltz into a rich chorus. The guitar is very subdued and acts as an accent throughout the song |
