This song is unclassifiable, its a 3/4 time on a simple harpsichord back rhythm, with a plucked instrument and strings, and voice. It tells a short story you may not want to hear.

Minimalist electropop with a hard edge. A slow, building intro takes you to a strong melody hook, reminiscent of the Depeche Mode of 'Black Celebration' days, or Yazoo. This song was written in 1988, and it has all the emotional intensity of the 80's synthpop era, to which it pays tribute. The song has an up-tempo beat which is contrasted with the dark, brooding vocal and synth lines.
    Label: Self published
    Credits: (c) 1988 & (p) 1999 John Stuart
