Schwa

DJ Schwa (aka Tony Rosa) was born in Allentown, PA in 1977. Growing up, a major influence in his life was his father, a local DJ and record store owner. He always knew he wanted to be involved with music. His musical taste has always been very broad, including jazz, punk rock, disco, hip-hop, drum-n-bass, and techno. His favorite style, however, is deep Chicago house music, which he began spinning after he moved to Orlando, FL in 1995. Since then, he has thrown down in many clubs all over O-town, including Hard Rock Live, Knock Knock, AKA Lounge, and Elements. Eventually Schwa made the natural progression into producing tracks. The music he makes is heavily influenced by Derrick Carter, Sneak, Mark Farina, Roy Davis Jr., and Gene Farris. These songs are his interpretation of the deep Chicago house sound.
