A pleasant little story about a little bird. It's really a metaphor for
something entirely different. See if you can figure it out! Yeah! |

This is more of a progressive rock song that is reminiscient of the heavy art rock
of Yes from the early 70s. The lyrics paint a picture of a short yet trippy adventure
that develops with the music. And there's a dance/rave section in the middle. I'm not
kidding. |

This jamming rock waltz (3/4) kicks in with a psuedo 4/4 funk groove following the
intro. the smart yet simple lyrics set the tone for the catchphrase chorus, "Everybody
wants to be different, just like everyone else," which is a timeless statement on today's
society of non-conformist conformists. Also targeted are California sea lions. The song's anti-anti-non-conformist
message isn't lost on the group however, as they too just want to be different, just like everyone else. |
