The band Love and Rockets has a song that talks about "where all the red that's in the world bleeds into all the blue." Well, you've found it. A prism of the mind. During the insanity and parachute pants of the early 80s, a stray ship from beyond the rim of our galaxy blazed through the Midwestern sky and landed near the lakes, fields and urban setting of Minneapolis. Like colorful sponges, the inhabitants of this lost ship soaked in the sounds and vibes of this interesting era. Squeezing their brains through the maze of empty music and prosthetic culture they found subtle touches of brilliance around the fringe of this strange culture... Gary Neuman. Devo. Pop, but not mainstream. Punk, but not so abrasive. And so the strangers settled their roots into the ground of the upper Midwest. Growing and changing. Evolving into masters of light and sound. Eventually the time came to share their vision with the world. The lights, the colors, the sounds. More than just a rock concert. More than just a show. They have come to take your brain on a fascinating journey to their home ... Manplanet. Fasten your seatbelts and ride a bolt of lightning through your ears, and the rods and cones of your eyes. "Space Station Disaster" was recorded live by Digital Club Network on December 23, 2000 at First Avenue in Minneapolis, MN. Click
