Three beings, three planets. The members of Space Rig, as they have come to be known, found one another quite by chance while on separate missions to planet Earth.
They are:
Commander Slim on Fretless Bass
Captain Thaddeus on Crunch Guitar
Lieutenant Okono on Time Coordinates
Knowing the traditional roles of their particular instruments, Commander Slim and Captain Thaddeus chose to break those rules… their need to communicate their galactian messages gave birth to their reversal of the frequencies of their chosen instruments.
All of the sounds you hear on this CD in the high frequency range (sounding like guitar and/or keyboards) are preformed by Commander Slim on his Fretless Bass;
While all of the low frequency (bass) sounds are preformed by Captain Thaddeus on his Crunch Guitar.
With this role reversal, Space Rig seeks to communicate to Earthlings the necessity to break free of traditional earth roles in order to form a more perfect universe.
