Edward of Sim -- Leading proponent of hippy-dippy freako music.
Best known as half of the mighty Virgin Twin,
Edward of Sim also has a catalogue of solo recordings well
worth exploring. Never predictable nor cliché, and only
occasionally self-serious, his love of melody, harmony,
and experimentation result in crystalline nuggets
of sparkling sound and texture.
The music available on this page is lifted from
six EoS solo albums recorded between 1987 and 1996,
mostly on 4-track (some on 8-track) cassette, and
all are available from
Mystic Insect.
Also be sure to check out the OTHER half of Virgin Twin,
genius songwriter and world's greatest guitar-player,
Jon-Ross.
