What is the Nth Coming??
And when precisely is it coming, for that matter? The NTH COMING: FUTURECLAN site was originally conceived as a place to assemble and post raw material--backing tracks for a still very much nascent electronic & sample-driven rap album. This album would represent a significant change in direction for THE ROPE GOAT CLAN , my sometime live drum & bass rap group/on-again-off-again studio project, performed with collaborators DJ HOBO, MC POPE-ON-A-ROPE, and the irrepressible NAGE. The site's goal, however, has become increasingly difficult to realize.
See, I've been busy...I've got a legitimate gigging ROCK BAND now...I'm also finishing my first year of graduate school at The University of Maryland.
But I'll try to start posting new material, whether or not it's meant to become rap music. I'm starting to realize this site is more for me, anyway--I've only really posted MY efforts, except for the one NAGE track. If you've come by, listened, and enjoyed any of this, I thank you, and I will make an effort to start adding more items of interest--more images, links, music, etc.
Anyway, just thought I'd let you know. Let the Nth Coming commence!
