The Nasty Maggots have been nominated in the "Postpunk and Beyond" category in the Valley Advocate Grand Band Slam!! They are eagerly waiting for the results...come back and find out if they won!! The Nasty Maggots are in the process of recording the new CD entitled "Transvestite Tears". The Art-work is great, the quotes are memorable and the music...the music is pretty good too. We have limited ourselves to 8 tracks this time, and we have included the following new instruments: Lead Bass, Atomic Drums, Tambourine-on-a-Bungee and Guitar. Look for a summer release, with a huge CD release party at a secret place. There have already been bootlegs of some songs appearing on e-Bay and Napster and the band is wondering how this happened (all fingers are pointing to Wrick).
