It's a perfect April evening, Friday night and Spring is in the air.
The clean smell of warm electronics hangs patiently in the enormous
space between the floor and ceiling of the 500 seat Oakville Centre.
The people that are filing into the steep auditorium are greeted
with the low ambient house lights and even lower spots on the
dimly lit stage. There is quiet chatter amongst the audience, the
house lights fade away and the instruments and amplifiers are
silhouetted against the Blue back lighting. The musicians take the
stage to a rousing applause from an eager crowd. Slowly, from a
single synthesized note, each instrument begins to contribute
to the huge rock crescendo of Drums, Percussion, Keyboards,
Rhythm and Lead Guitars that are now in full cry expertly manipulated
by six of the most talented musicians that have contributed so
massively to world music, and to this night. Finally, as the prologue reaches it's crescendo, Trev is on stage,
Guitar in hand ... 1,2,3, and the opening song, Just Sing, rips through
the Oakville Centre like a wild Hurricane. This is Trev John Absolutely Live!
The Live album will be released in September 2001. Look for it in HMV

This is a song written just for fun, unlike the rest of the album, the lyrics are not really to be taken seriously, but rather to have fun with. It may be a nonsense song but it had us "rocking in the aisles" all the same. In the live performance five very talented girls performed a tightly choreographed dance, this just added to the fun of 120/80. Recorded Live in Toronto, Canada on the 6th April, 2001 |
