The
Solo Project (from Scottsdale, AZ) joins the
Rise roster. Together for over three years, the group's energetic,
individualistic and emotive sound has been characterized as a razor-sharp
breed of punk, indie-rock, and hardcore. It has also been linked
with the 'emo-core' renaissance currently popularized by the nationally
recognized band Jimmy Eat World, who happen to be from The
Solo Project's home turf. Don't be fooled by this generalization,
though-- The Solo Project's sound is all their own. They also have
a track on the newest Deep Elm "emo diaries series".
Their 12 song "Bend/Break" debut full length CD
will hit the streets in Dec. 17th on Rise Records. In the meantime, listen to some
songs from the record.
