AN INTRODUCTION.
Forever mavericks at heart, The Space of Sound have
prefered to work at arms length from the giant multi
national recording companies who would claim their
talent as their own. Shunning then the material trapings
of the rock and roll circus, they have remained true to
their initial vision and now, despite wilderness years,
are able to present their work untainted by exterior
motives. It is clear that buxom leather-clad biker babes,
swimming-pool parties and outrageous earnings hold no
interest for a group with a mission!
Lying somewhere between Jonathan Richman, Robert Smith and Brian
Wilson, these songs are a triumph in the face of absurdity,
a living example of content over technique. Working within
the most austere of conditions The Space of Sound have developed
a personal style, a concept - LESS IS MORE ... more or less.
