The Circus has come to town. Djanje-liong's Circus. Mysterious, colourful, forbidden!
What delights and thrills await. Now all that can be seen on the patch of wasteland,
just outside of town, are an encampment of drab trucks and tailers. And the large
marquee : the Big Top. Red, yellow, blue and white. And a little muddy,
From inside comes the sound of continuous hammering,
occasional bursts of wild music. And the drums. Anachronistically,
modern beats, strangely funky, sightly techno, sounds like a drim machine.
What kind of circus has has electronic drum machines instead of
an orchestra? Is it just a front for travellers and their sound system?
Is it just an old, early 90s style rave? Surely not. When did a rave have
ELEPHANTS?
