	I think most pianists share a hidden passion for ragtime. Ragtime, however, is closely associated with cheap vaudeville and sleazy barrelhouses.Since pianists are probably the last people in the world who want to be thought of as being 'cheap & sleazy', they will most likely not play their secretly practised ragtime classics in public. The public will think the music is 'easy', even though ragtime is usually damn hard to play. This piece is an original Joplinesque piano-rag. It's cheap, it's sleazy --- and it's damn hard to play.
