Welcome to The "All New" Sinister Dexter Band mp3 presence. Thanks to MP$'s new three tracks only policy you must now go to station ForMySins to download all free tracks. Now features over two hours of original material This project takes a broad brush approach to music. The only rule here is don't repeat yourself. This work is theme based. The first published work is "Rhythm and Blues". It does exactly what it says on the tin!!! This music was written as closure after playing this kinda stuff for about six years in pubs, at bike rallies, and that kinda thing. If I ever have to sing "Mustang Sally" one more time I will scream. So Rhythm and Blues is kinda new old music. It is typical of rock music of the late seventies that has passed into folklore and yet they are brand new (!) songs. The second published work is "Unsettled Scores". This is, as the title suggests unsettling music. "White Room" is for those moments when you feel completely isolated and the implications in "Laura" should be enough to disturb anyone. Or have we become so blase that incest and murder are commonplace themes? The third work to be published will be called "Interference" and a preview is provided here. On Music Rights and costs: It seems to me that the current music industry model is horribly out of date and unfair so I'm proposing a new one. You may download Sinister Dexter tracks for free. You may listen to them and copy them to whatever medium you like. You are free to listen to them for personal use. However if you would like to offer a fair recompense of say $0.50 per track you thereby purchase transferable rights to that track and I will endeavour to provide you with the highest quality source file of that track available. You are entitled to upgrade that track at any time. If a new medium becomes available and you want a copy of the track in that new medium I will provide (if possible) a copy of the track in that media at cost. You will not be charged for the track again. And when I say cost I mean cost not $3.99 as MP3 insist on charging! I do not see why people insist on charging us again for things that we already own. The letters DVD spring to mind. If I have a copy of a film then I have bought the rights to that film. I should be able to upgrade my copy of the film for the cost of the media! So that's the deal here. It's kinda like a software license. The music is mine, it will always be mine and part of my estate. You may use it for personal use at no charge. You may register the use of that music for a nominal cost of $0.50. After that as a registered user you will be entitled to it in any form on any media (that's your deal). All remixes from the original track are also included. Consider them like free upgrades. You may not however use this music for personal gain without an agreed royalty. If you make money I wanna cut! If you use it for promotional purposes without direct profit or publish it elsewhere you should make sure there is a credit that explains that this is my music and where you found it. You can of course ignore this. I leave it up to your conscience and let you decide which model you would like to subscribe to.
