This music is inspired by, and built on the epic story by Jan Guillou that takes place 1150 - 1208 in what would become Sweden, and in the far east Jerusalem.
Innocence meets cruelty, christianity meets islam, indifference meets tolerance, ignorance meets knowledge, peace meets war, and two young lovers are condemned to be kept apart for twenty years.
