Something about me
My
name is Neven Soric and my pseudonym is GrumF. I was born on the September
25th, 1973 in Zagreb,
Croatia,
and still live there. If you are wondering where the hell is that, it
is in Europe, on the Balkan near Italy, Austria and Hungary. Maybe you
heard for the Adriatic Sea? If not, never mind… You will know. :)
I
started to produce my own music in late 80's. Big part of this period
I was focused on building my own style and finding the most suitable way
to express it. You can hear more of my works on www.grumf.com.
Regarding my being in the music world, I am in it since 1992, working
for small independent local labels.
The
music I create varies from deep house, tech-house and dance to progressive,
techno and trance. I don't stick to one style because I want to convey
my feelings though music as much as possible. Sometimes it is dark and
sometimes it is happy, but it is always full of energy.
The
biggest influences on my music are Trevor Horn and crazy guys from Yello.
I can listen them any time and there is always something new to discover
in their songs.
