We are saddened to inform you that "Pete Bardens" passed away in the early hours of Tuesday 22nd January 2002. Pete had been bravely battling cancer for the last year yet to the end retained the wit and humour he was known for.
Message from Mick Fleetwood
Peter Bardens Knocked on my garage door in London well over 30 years ago. In fact, one might say Pete discovered me. From that moment on in 1962 we continued our musical relationship, and still remain close friends today.
With that in mind I present you with some of Peter's new music which I had the pleasure of playing on. Unfortunately though, I must also let you know that Peter is now fighting brain and lung cancer. Any purchase of his music will contribute greatly to his getting the best medical care possible at this critical time.
As you enjoy Peter's music, at home, at work or in your car,you can also feel good in the knowledge that you are supporting his journey, and in doing so, giving all of us the opportunity to continue hearing Peter's music for years to come.
I give my thanks to all of you, and to MP3 for being such a generous supporter by bringing Peter's music to you.
