Mixed with a helping of mellowed downtempo, to help
contradict itself.

I began writing this track on Sept 11, 2001. That was one of the ways that I personally coped that day (and for the few days following), and that's why the tune is as somber as it is. It has a sad ambience with hopeful melodies dancing over it. It should be said that I didn't consciously contemplate the events that happened that day, although I was obviously aware of them. I just made music, and this is what came out. |
