"FROTH" - meaning effervescent and brimming over with excess. "MINUS" - meaning a gradual diminution in character or attributes. Such was the nature of the once infamous, but now long-since forgotten medieval philosopher FROTH MINUS. Inspired by his unique, yet somewhat puzzling philosophy of SELF-NULLIFICATION, four individuals banded together to keep his memory alive. Haliling from Escherberg, Germany, (a small hamlet near the outskirts of Latveria), the band gained a growing popularity in the mid-1990's with their themes of INDEPENDENCE, ALIENATION, INTERNAL EXPLORATION, AND SKEPTICISM. Unfortunately, these themes did not sit well with those in power at the time, and the band soon found themselves the vicitms of MOUNTING HARASSMENT by government officials. In response, the band was forced to retreat from public view, emerging only sporadically to play an unscheduled show at an UNDISCLOSED LOCATION. From thereon out, the members decided to keep their true identities hidden, referring to themselves as various ELEMENTS ON THE PERIODIC TABLE. Today they can no longer risk being heard in their home country and so turn to the internet to spread their music to other more open-minded countries.
