Rockin' guitar shuffle, featuring Norman D on vocals, Massi and Paul on guitars. The first solo is Mario Massi and the second is Kevin Paul. Tantalizing guitar breaks, thumping bass and even horns make up this ultra-tight blues/jazz/rock band. The vocalist has a Louis Armstrong on steroids tone that grabs you and won't let go - until he says it's ok to let go. Take my advice and just do what he says. The StikMen sound like they are having fun making music and it shows. The call and return "More Than Money" gang/band vocals are reminiscent of the big-band sound and make the song even more fun. This is good time music, which makes you want to go and see this band live, if your tastes are along the Walter Trout, Wishbone Ash, Jeff Healy route, then Stikmen are for you. |
