Bobby Fischer's collective ingredients made it more of an appropriate candidate for our debut single. Lots of guitars, a singalong chorus, a memorable riffs, and lyrics about a former world chess champion and the Icelandic capital, all added up to make it the natural choice for single release back in June 2000. |

Canada is best descibed as 2 minutes and 22 seconds worth of hand clapping, foot stomping, dashboard tapping, pop. In its original form, the song was nothing like the way it's turned out. Written as a medium paced, reflective track, in the hands our drummer, Mike Wilcox, it quickly turned into something else altogether and has become a favourite of Lazy Susan's live set. |
