in the Late 90s, These guys knew it was time to split up after showing up
to a gig only to find that the Club had closed its' doors for good. Deep
Ellum, in Dallas, TX. is tough that way.
In Las Vegas, no one likes you unless you got dough. In LA, no one likes
you if your not known.
In Deep Ellum, No one likes you at all. To make things worse, everyone
pretends to like you. The Band seen is reminiscent of ancient Rome, with
Club Owners and Band members making deals and pressing flesh in public,
all the while conniving and scheming on how they could blow you off and
get ahead in their next deal. Sound like a VH1 behind the Music story in
the making.
In order to get head in Big D, one needs ready money and good looks. THIS
BAND HAD NEITHER.
