the eines started the year with the release of their second cd, and once again decided to make it "self titled" ... two self titled cd's in a row and a band name with two pronunciations ... are they marketing geniuses or what?! the cd has received some rave reviews (some outtakes above) and found it's way into rotation at various pop/rock radio stations across north america (a few in europe too). full radio release scheduled for this fall.

in june they played at clinton's to celebrate the release of their first music video - "already here". they followed that up in july with an opening slot for i mother earth at windsor's freedom festival, and a second outdoor concert at the celebrate toronto street festival - they played the main rock stage with gringdig, the salads, and not by choice. in september the eines performed at the phoenix concert theater in toronto.

they recently licensed out some of their catalogue, a few songs will be featured in two full length movies currently in production in the u.s. they've also done deals with nickelodeon and the discovery channel for two separate television series both of which will air this fall. their track "submarines" was included on the "one big no" cd along with music from other artists such as the barenaked ladies, ron hawkins, emm gryner, and by divine right, to name but a few.
