Rusted Jesus is a collective of artists from a variety of popular Phoenix bands, both past and present. Featuring former and current members of N17, BLESSEDBETHYNAME, Nihil, Radio Free America, The Strand, and Formula, Rusted Jesus' music is as hard and driving as it is smooth and soulful. Rusted Jesus combines elements of electronic, tribal, industrial and rock music to create a swirling mixture of pounding beats, lush melodies and subtle harmonies. To quote The Right Reverend Munk: "...Asked to describe what this ambrosia is composed of, what it 'sounds like', I'm sorta stuck. It sure dosen't sound like any of the previous bands these guys were in. To me it sounds like what might happen if you chopped & dropped some early Electric Skychurch and bolted on a couple turbocharged Rob Zombies for horsepower... ...Rusted Jesus is a 'let's f**k' song sung by chainsaw-wielding bikers on hallucinogenics who have just captured a beautiful nun. It's a yummy ambrosia..."
