	This song is about the joy of being in love and is an oh-so rare happy songs! Written in happier times, I think you can really hear it. The song was written in the summer of 2000 but took about 8 months before it was recorded and the changes in the arrangement over that time show. Originally slow, it had none of that Beach Boys meet New Order order sound that can be heard now and was totally folky. With the addition of a second set of vocals and fond rememberances of what the song was about, Slipped became the shiny, sparkly piece of pop you hear before you and is truly one of my favourite songs.

"World Press Freedom Day" genre: Alternative General

	World Press Freedom Day is day celebrated annually on May 3rd as a reminder of the importance of freedom of speech and freedom of the press. It is about the pen being mightier than the sword and about how words have the power to change society.

	As you might have guessed from the title, this song takes it's cue from Def Leppard. It had lyrics at one time but I found I liked it better without vocals and just left it as the instrumental version you hear today. I think it stands up pretty good without singing!
