This is one of an eventual set of three etudes for piano. It is in 5-parts, with a "perpetual motion" outer part, an "invention/scherzo" inner layer, and a central "ballade." It is somewhat in the "hyperpiano" vein, and is dedicated to the memory of Conlon Nancarrow. The level of difficulty is quite high. |
