Commander Cody & His Lost Planet Airmen
In 1967 Commander Cody and His Lost Planet Airmen was more of a 'happening' than anything else, featuring up to 36 members, including a supporting cast of honking and blowing neo radicals. In 1972, the group released “Hot Rod Lincoln,” a surprise Top Ten hit (later sampled by Sugar Ray on “Mean Machine”). Commander Cody resisted the booming style of '70s rock, favoring a minimalist mix of classic country, rockabilly, and rock ‘n roll. "Good Morning Judge" was recorded live by Digital Club Network on December 9, 2000 at The Brewery in Raleigh, NC. Click here to see the entire live audio/video show from that evening!!
