4 albums were released: Creating our sins in '92, Kaddish in '94 (both on the German label Morbid Records), A Moment of Silence in '98 (produced by Colin Richardson) and Collective Demise in '02 (on the German label KMG/System Shock).
The Fading video (from Kaddish) was featured on M.T.V.'s Headbangers Ball, as well as on other metal shows all over Europe.
The band has another 8 videos that were played on local channels.
Salem played mutual shows or served as the opening act with: Megadeth, Entombed, Rotting Christ, Cancer, Ancient Rites, and Disharmonic Orchestra.
Headbangers Ball in collaboration with Kerrang magazine picked Salem as one of the best up and coming metal bands in the world.
