Paced to suit the winter months.....
a reminder whats behind the summer. This is what I call "Winter Trance" - this is the dark side of the year defined musically. An autumnal guitar sets the scene for the months ahead...leading up to Christmas, and the dark nights after that...Dark Season is the body of the colder time of the year. After the summer has set away, and the memories of beachballs are fading, take a look at the dark skies, and feel the cold bite your skin, as you wander back home in the snow..... | MP3.com CD: Outlook - buy it!

Interlude.........about two minutes in length, setting the scene for the evening in a dusklit bay overlooking coast and the fields. Waves stroking the beach, grassy meadows, the final moments of the day. The song itself is designed to symbolize what life is like when people have arrived back home from work, when everyone is sitting down watching TV indoors, and the setting sun is scorching down on the dusty beach. Nature is laying itself down to rest for another evening, and having its own private closing ceremony, at the end of the day. | MP3.com CD: Outlook - buy it!

Celtic influences on a hill-top in the northlands. As well as Celtic influences, I put Gaelic sounds into this song, whereby the bagpipes have strong prominence. The fast pace of the song resembles the battle scenes that once dominated the brae, and the haunting sound of the bagpipes symbolizes the focus on Gaelic tradition and the aura surrounding the brooding Highlands. A brae is a Scottish hillside, imposing and strong, and the pipes at the start of the song show the Gaelic way of saying 'goodbye', yet the fast paced music afterwards shows the previous scenes of war. | MP3.com CD: Outlook - buy it!
