PORCUPINE DEFENSE is the Solo project of TERMINAL SECT's founding member COLIN SCHWEN [AKA: GAMMA KNIFE] After establishing themselves firmly in the early 1990s New York City Industrial scene, Terminal Sect gained international success with the release of 3 full length CD's as well as several remix and many compilation appearances. Record label credit's include METROPOLIS, CLEOPATRA, FURNACE, PRIMORDIAL and others. As Terminal Sect settled into a still continuing hiatus [Work is well under way on their follow up to Bread and wine for the Dirt-(Metropolis), due out winter 2002/3] Colin continued writing as a solo artist signing the first PORCUPINE DEFENSE CD 'SPLINTER' to Metropolis records. The newest effort is reflected here with songs selected from the highly anticipated second full length PORCUPINE DEFENSE CD
