The Bandhistory
The Members
Uwe Leuschner (Bass)
Thomas Schöffler (Guitars and Vocals)
Stefan Leuschner (Drums)
The Origin
1998 Stefan began learning drums. He always practiced alone. Just at the beginning he got help from his mentor Chuck (drummer from Broken Illusions).
Two years later, in january, his brother began playing (learning) the bassguitar. He exercised at a fitnesstudio and there he met Thomas. He said, that he played guitar and he was looking for a band.
With the first song "Its only a dream" the story of the band "LAMAGRA" began. Thomas is the creativ brain of the band.He writes the complete music for guitar and bass and he also writes the lyrics with Stefan.
Stefan is a very good drummer. He has many ideas to give the music the dynamic that it needs.
Uwe is the organisation-brain. He deals with the bumf and looks for gigs. Also he organisated the Demo-CD. Its not simple to accommodate.
After one year of creativ working it was time to bannish 7 titles on CD. Other titles are in progress. We hope, that we will have our first live gig this year.
The Bandname
That is a story for itself. Stefan has the idea to call it "PURGATORY". But shit, much other bands have the same name. So we needed another one. Do you know the movie "BLADE". It's a good movie. In this movie there is a blood god, called "LAMAGRA". It's a cool name we thought and so we decided to take this name. Nobody of us is a vampire but we like the story of this creature. That was the reason we wrote the song "DRACULA"
