THBT, a character created by some punk co-workers at the local Edmonton IKEA one day when the store was dead, and their was nothing to do. This spawned the band known as THBT! THBT is pronounced by sticking your tounge out and blowing, like you did to other kids while you played tag back in elementary... Were a rockin five peice, living in a day of emo and hardcore; yet we can still crank out our Ska and Skacore tunes at monstorous sound levels so that the neighboors start screaming and wishing that we would go back to listening Ministry at full volume on our stereos.... Our major influenses however do not include Ministry, even though they have a dark sound that some of us really like... in reality we are mostly inspired by Less Than Jake, Mad Caddies, Suicide Machines, AFI, Fishbone, Planet Smashers, Reel Big Fish, and some Ten Foot Pole on the side. Like Less Than Jake, we can't sit still, and are really energetic, like Mad Caddies we we love what we do, and have some jazz influence in our playing, like Suicide Machines, we are not bared by our Ska/Skatepunk sterotypical boundries and still have some dark emo songs on the side, like AFI we keep it simple, which makes our music very effective, and Ten Foot Pole just because we like them....

The guitar, vocal tracks were done in March 2001. The drum track was done in May 2001. This is more of a demo of the song, a better version will be released later with a better flow, female vocals, horns, and bass. |

Going through a depressed state, Luke finally got working lyrics for El Schorcho, and the first run through of the song is here! The lyrics are going through some changes to flow better, and the guitar riff is also being streamlined to make it easier for the horns and Cael to keep up. |
