Formed in 1998, Louisville, KY based Code Red is on a mission to prove that their sound, a stimulating blend of Hip Hop and Reggae, cannot be defined by region. Consisting of three MCs, the members of Code Red come from all walks of life and bring with them a unique musical perspective that mixes the cutting edge lyrical styles of the new millennium with a head-nodding, party vibe that evokes memories of basement parties, block parties, and park jams in any Hip Hop head who listens. Point blank, Code Red embodies what good rap music is all about - the culture of HIP HOP! They are intelligent enough for the back-packers, street enough for the thug set, and smooth enough for the ladies. Their goal is to gain a large enough fan base to keep doing what they are doing, which is bringing real Hip Hop to the masses.
