Keep On Movin' - is a song of celebration of life. Musically and lyrically, the song is upbeat with a positive message. Lyrically the song expresses to "never give up" and to always move forward no matter what the situation. It also suggests that music and dancing can be the stress reliever, at least for the moment, to "keep on movin'." Musically the song is very eclectic and starts off with a hard rock attention getter and immediately goes into a danceable pop reggae beat with the beautiful female voice of Liz St. John. The song switches in the first verse to the male rapping of Tommy2Rude and alternates from there back and forth to Liz until the chorus. The chorus goes back to the rock anthem expressing "In Your Face" tactics to Keep On Movin', keeping that rhythmic dancing beat throughout with the rock edge. The second verse starts off with Tommy2Rude this time and back to the same pop dance style that's present in the first verse. Same format as in the first verse until the chorus comes back to rock you again. The songs ends telling the listener to "keep on movin'" no matter what with Liz wailing enough to "break glass" (Mariah Carey has nothing on her) leaving the listener wanting more. The song is highly danceable with beats of pop, reggae, rock, and a taste of rap. It is the feel good song of the year and the first single on the CD. |
