Sweet, easy-going, haunting, winding and mysterious instrumental story of the morning. Dual acoustic guitar tracks drive this piece, while warm synth arrangements take it to new levels. Drums leave us for a while, inducing a feeling of weightlessness. feel your feet leave the ground, and your body float upwards, for just a while. Breathe. Feel the waterfall. Then fall back into the mix. Steely Dan fans, see if you can catch the drum fill from "Green Earrings" (inspired by - no samples here). This was truely one of my most favorite parts of the song. Alas, the sax solo at the end would have to top that. It was the very last track recorded. This piece was a pure joy to make |
