October
Tide was created in 1995 by Jonas Renkse and Fred Norrman from the [at
the time] defunct Swedish outfit Katatonia. The debut CD "Rain
without End" showcased bitterly cold and trance enducing dark music.
Acoustic passages, violin and the undeniable power of the guitars seemed
to surely ensure success. . . or would it? October Tide's follow-up CD,
"Grey Dawn", displayed an even more distressing, personal, beautiful
and dark side of the band - encased with perfect production. Unfortunately,
most overlooked October Tide and widespread success never came. Please
show your support by listening to the songs regularly, and writing what
October Tide means to you here. While on mp3.com, please
