These were recorded live on my "Virtual Pipe Organ", which is a reproduction of an 18th century German instrument. Actual samples were taken from the Cathedral organs of Röhn, Frieburg, Bohn, and Hamburg. These samples were then incorporated into the marvelous JEUX Sondfont by John McCoy. The "Virtual Pipe Organ" features five manuals and a double pedal manual, with a total of 187 ranks (or 28,340 individual pipes!). The "Virtual Pipe Organ" is powered by two Intel Pentium III computers controlled by a heavily customized Conn Organ console. I would like to express my deep gratitude to John McCoy, who provided the basis and inspiration for this project, and without whom I could not have achieved the success I've enjoyed! Thanks, John!
