Theymature without growing up, move to the city without forgetting home, andbecome true musicians while constantly rediscovering thier instruments,they form a band named Dignen in Portland, OR. Dignen has released songs ona compilation album put out by Notefarm Records, a seven inch album, and are in the process of releasing their first full length album. Dignen consists of Lead Singer and guitar player Tim Roth, Guitar player Ritchie Young, Bass guitar player Isaac Endicott, Percussionist Jason Joy, and back-up vocalist/keyboard player Ashley Carson.Some of Dignens main influences are Sunny Day Realestate, Radio Head, Built to Spill, and Modest Mouse.They got the name dignen from the independent film "Bottle Rocket."Dignen went on a west coast tour at the beginning of last summer and decided to record an album upon their return. In October, Dignengot done recording their full length album with Steve Wold in Olympia,WA.Steve has recorded bands such as Modest mouse, Built to Spill, and MurderCity Devils. |
