Emily Watkins is the Assistant Principal Viola of the San Antonio Symphony and the Founding Co-Director of Camerata San Antonio, a chamber ensemble comprised of players from the San Antonio Symphony. She holds degrees from Southern Methodist University, the Peabody Conservatory, and the University of Michigan. Ms. Watkins has also been a fellow at the Aspen Music Festival and School and at the Tanglewood Music Center. She currently performs on Camerata San Antonio's monthly programs, with other chamber ensembles in the San Antonio area and with various orchestras in Central and South Texas.
