SHAPES
Spheres are the simplest and most prevalent shapes in nature. They are the shape of stars, planets, and raindrops. Songs in the Sphere group are beautiful and relaxing, with slow, light beats, or maybe no beat at all.
Cubes are built on structural regularity. Eight vertices with four sides per face. Songs in the Cube group tend to have faster tempos with solid rhythm lines.
Pyramids represent power and majesty, built as they are upon broad square bases, then towering high. Songs of the Pyramid group are composed with heavy rhythms and bass lines, and are musically rich with instrumentation.
COLORS
Each shape denotation is colored to approximate the mood of the piece, with colors in the cool end of the spectrum (blues, greens) indicating moody, melancholy, or sombre compostions, while warm colors (red, yellow) denote brighter or livelier songs. Grey tones are for songs that may be a mixture of both, and black denotes deep melancholy or mystery.
