Please don't use the Fan Club sign-up to the left -
it is yet another scam by MP3.COM to extort money from its artists -
artists have to PAY for your email address. Please visit Venharis.com
to contact Phil Thompson directly.
Venharis: An Adventure in Sound
is a 3D Fractal Music Odyssey created
by Phil Thompson, composer of 1998's groundbreaking
and highly acclaimed album of fractal electronica,
0RGAN1SED CHA0S, and creator of 1997's
award winning fractal music system,
Gingerbread: The Mandelbrot Music Generator.
A fractal music creation system like no other,
Venharis is a 3D game in which the only
score is the musical one you compose as you play -
train & jam with sixteen alien musicians and create ORIGINAL
new works of fractal music - not remixes of pre-recorded
samples!
Below are demonstration tunes created by Phil
whilst playing Venharis himself. These are pure system output - with no mixing or editing in external
music sequencers - and are all derived entirely from fractals,
Chaos Theory - the mathematics of the Laws of Nature!
The Venharis system is now FREEWARE! Click on the button below to download.
For more information on Phil's ongoing adventures in Fractal Music,
visit OrganisedChaos.biz.
During your visit why not purchase the Organised Chaos album -
if you insert it in your CD-ROM drive whilst playing Venharis
the album is used as its soundtrack!
Also, why not check out the online Venharis feature at Shift.com.

This track is a Phil Thompson remix of Karen Boshart's song "I Can See", and features string and bassline sections created using Venharis. To "spot the difference" check out Karen's original version at mp3.com/karenboshart - for more info about this awesome singer songwriter visit karenboshart.com. This mix is not pure Venharis and is massively edited in other systems. |
Credits: Karen Boshart (everything), Phil Thompson (remix and twiddly bits). |
