Dust Pipe grew out of the catharsis of music with an improvisational ethic. Thus, they are not bogged down by premeditation and getting takes just right. 3 men unleashing their woes of life into music soon realized how good the stuff was, and began recording it. Influenced by Eno, Zappa, Can, Iggy Pop, and King Crimson they pressed forward knowing a certain terrain was already explored, but also aware that the road would soon lead to an undiscovered country. Exploring sonic and lyrical landscapes between blues, jazz, ambient, and fusion, this crew consisting of a communist, a capatalist, and a socialist seek dynamic, timbral worlds to explore and dominate. Rarely afraid of a wrong move, they use beer as fuel for their flights of fancy that can land them anywhere from a Berlin coffee shop to a Mississippi dive bar (Singapore Whore optional) .
