Seán Needham is the songwriter, singer & guitar player. He is from Donegal but living, working and playing in Dublin at present. His music could be described as upbeat Acoustic Rock. He has been influenced by artists such as the Jimi Hendrix, Ben Harper, Frank Sinatra, Nina Simone, The Dave Matthews Band and The Counting Crows to name but a few.
Seán is working the scene around Dublin at present. He can be regularly seen at The Ruby Sessions Doyles Bar on Fleet Street, Molloys of Christchurch and Slatterys in Rathmines. He has also played in the Isaac Butt on Store Street and Whelans of Wexford Street.
Seán has worked along with artists such as Jude Hegaty & Karl Downes of the Red Sea Pedestrians, Paul McDonald of the Cellar Club, Morgan Ferriter, Dave Flynn and Oisín Christy. Often a band is born and when it is you may see any combination of these guys, playing along with Seán.
He has also supported acts such as Liam oMaonlai of the Hot House Flowers, The Screaming Orphans, The Cellar Club and Declan ORourke.
Seán is currently recording his Debut album, which will be available before the end of the year.
