| a hardcore anti fascist songFascism is an increasing problem, so there can never be to many songs like these. Fascists are scum, pure and simple. How anyone can think that someone is better or more important, has more of a right to live in a country because of the colour of their skin or their sexual orientation is beyond me. THEY ARE WRONG. We must speak out against them with as much spite and hate as they use, and show them up for the scum they are. Write another song about it! Please!! |

| Anomie is a state of social confusion. Let me just run you through how it occurs. The second we are born we are bombarded with images of so-called “successful” middle class families in the media and in advertising. Then age 5 we are locked up in a school box, where we are labeled failures if we are not at the top of the class, or if we don’t do to well in our little spelling tests. Then Exams ……. Evil things! The amount of stress they cause, while all they prove is how much of the crap you’ve been fed you can remember, under stress. They don’t prove intelligence, logical thinking or anything else useful. Again, if you don’t do well, you’re labeled a failure. Once your education is over, you’d better be a doctor, a dentist, a solicitor (lawyer), something in reality only a few people achieve.So people, after all that, it is a wonder if you don’t ask yourself “why haven’t I got THAT job, why haven’t I got THAT car, why haven’t I got 3,2 children like THAT bloke on the telly? This causes confusion (anomie) which all to often leads to depression or even suicide. Don’t let this happen to you. Follow YOUR OWN dreams; be artistic with your lives. Don’t let anyone tell you “Get a proper job!” A proper job is a job that makes YOU happy. Look inside yourself, look at those you love around you, that is your mirror in which you see if you’re a failure or not. | |

| I am sick of hearing the words bitch, hoe etc in music, especially in hardcore, ‘coz that is just so opposed to everything we are meant to stand for. To me these words used in a context against woman is the same as hearing a black person called a nigger. Why, if a band is racist, do we avoid them like the plague, but no-one batters an eyelid if a band is blatantly sexist. It is time to stop. It’s no wonder more and more woman stay away from hardcore gigs nowadays when a large percentage of an audience consists of a bunch of macho fucks who dance around like apes and treat woman – and smaller blokes – like dirt, so they have to hide in the back somewhere. STOP! Woman are equal to man, and size doesn’t make a better person either. This might seem like shocking news to some, but it is time something this obvious was actually said. Stop the oppressive sexist language and treat females the same as you would your mates. | |
